A change has broken the site
An AI edit, layout change or software update has left pages or features failing, and you are unsure how to get back to a working version.
S3 / WEBSITE RESCUE & TAKEOVER
Changes have broken the site, your developer has moved on, or keeping it running has become another job. Talk to a real person and agree a practical next step.
A PRACTICAL START
Websify helps UK businesses assess and repair existing websites, organise a handover and plan ongoing maintenance. We start with the fault, its business impact and the information available, then agree the work that makes sense.
An AI edit, layout change or software update has left pages or features failing, and you are unsure how to get back to a working version.
Your developer has disappeared or an in-house colleague has moved on. The site still needs someone to understand the accounts, backups and updates.
The site is down, enquiries are not arriving or the booking journey has stopped working. Tell us which customer actions are affected.
You have reduced your in-house team or want to outsource website care, with a clear arrangement for updates, fixes and day-to-day responsibility.
WHAT WE REVIEW
We review the relevant parts of the website, connected services and handover within the access and scope agreed.
Check affected layouts, links, mobile behaviour, forms or booking routes against recent changes and reported errors.
Review hosting, domains, DNS, SSL or integrations where relevant, and identify any work that needs the original supplier's involvement.
Organise available accounts, backups, code and maintenance information, recording what is understood and what still needs attention.
HOW IT WORKS
Share the URL, affected features and recent changes. We clarify the business impact, whether we can take the work and when it can be scheduled.
Confirm the investigation or repair work, cost and expected arrangements. Further investigation or additional work is agreed before it continues.
With the necessary permission, establish an available backup or recovery approach, carry out the agreed work and check affected pages and features.
Record what was completed, what remains unresolved and recommended next steps. Arrange a handover or ongoing care if you want it.
REPAIR, HANDOVER & CARE
Begin with the help you need now. Decide on longer-term maintenance once the website's condition is understood.
Address the agreed fault, complete the specified checks and explain the result. Investigation and repair costs are confirmed before work begins.
Organise accounts, backups, supplier responsibilities and update arrangements so a new person can understand and manage the site.
Agree maintenance separately around the platform and workload, including the updates, backups, content edits and support you need.
Investigation, repair and takeover of an existing website are quoted individually, separately from our new website subscriptions. Third-party costs, extra development and ongoing care are set out in the quote.
If the current setup has become difficult to maintain, we can also assess the case for a redesign or rebuild.

COMMON QUESTIONS
You can enquire about an existing website even if Websify did not build it. Share the URL, problem and platform if known. We review the setup, available information and access before confirming whether we can take the work, its scope and the quote.
We can assess it. Tell us what changed, when the fault appeared and whether an earlier version or backup exists. The repair approach depends on the code and environment. An unfinished application or new functionality needs a separately defined development scope.
Different platforms allow different changes and need different access and maintenance. Include the platform in your enquiry, or just send the URL if you are unsure. We confirm whether we can help and what information is needed before accepting the agreed work.
We quote for the problem, available information and agreed scope. Investigation, repair, handover and ongoing care are explained separately, with paid work agreed in advance. Rescue work on an existing website is separate from our new website subscriptions and their zero upfront build fee.
Yes, explain whether the site is completely down or enquiries, bookings or transactions are affected. We confirm whether we can accept the work and the earliest available slot. A reply, the start of investigation and a completed repair are separate stages, with arrangements confirmed when the work is accepted.
Not necessarily. If the website still suits the business, we assess whether the fault can be addressed in the existing environment. Where the architecture, platform limits or management needs warrant a different approach, we explain migration or rebuild options and their costs.
Start with the domain, hosting, website and backup information you can obtain, and establish who has management rights. Missing access may require account or ownership information to be verified with the relevant supplier before work can proceed. You do not need to send passwords with the first enquiry.
We can discuss ongoing support. Maintenance is scoped separately around the platform, condition and workload, with the updates, backups, content edits and support arrangements agreed. You can also choose only a one-off repair or handover and decide on ongoing care later.
TELL US WHAT HAS HAPPENED
You do not need to know the technical cause. A URL and a description of what customers can no longer do are a useful starting point.
If the site is down or customers cannot enquire, mention it in the details. Acceptance and timing are confirmed after we understand the situation.
Review and edit the message before sending it. Please leave out passwords, access keys and customer records.
A CLEAR NEXT STEP
Share the URL and where things stand. We will work out a sensible repair or handover arrangement with you.
