It started with
the everyday essentials.

  1. 2017The beginning / IT support

    Practical help for busy small businesses.

    Websify was founded in Hong Kong in 2017. From day one, we provided IT support for small business owners, starting with website creation, business email and server setup: the everyday tools that help a business operate.

    A website introduces your services. An email account keeps you in touch with customers. A server supports the work behind the scenes. We began by helping owners get these things set up and dealing with the technical questions, so they could spend their time running the business.

  2. 2020Custom systems / A wider remit

    Software shaped around the way a business works.

    In 2020, we expanded into larger custom software projects, including restaurant ordering systems, warehouse management systems and internal bookkeeping tools. Our work moved further into the processes that businesses rely on every day.

    Taking orders, tracking stock and keeping accounts each come with their own routines. Custom development starts with understanding those routines, then shaping the software around them. That attention to how a business actually works still informs the websites we create today.

  3. 2024UK headquarters / Digital marketing

    A new chapter in the UK, and in digital marketing.

    In 2024, we established our headquarters in the UK and expanded our digital marketing services. Alongside website creation, our work now includes search engine optimisation (SEO) and answer engine optimisation (AEO), helping businesses consider how customers find, understand and contact them online.

    As AI answers become part of the search experience, business content needs to keep pace. We help organise service information, website structure and content for both traditional and AI search. The services have grown, but the purpose remains familiar: looking after the digital work that busy owners may not have time to manage themselves.
